Gavriella Factor

 Principal and Co-Founder

Gavriella Factor is the Principal and Co-Founder of Alkamy Capital. She has over 25 years of experience in asset management for diverse institutional and private wealth clients, with focus on equity, credit, and leveraged finance. Prior to joining Alkamy, she worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for more than a decade. During her tenure at MS, she custom tailored alternative investment programs to help meet the unique needs of institutional and ultra-high net worth clients, spanning private equity, real assets, private credit and digital assets. She was a Municipal debt portfolio manager trading, overseeing private and public financing investments. She holds Series 7 and 63 licenses and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Moshe Popack

 Principal and Co-Founder

Moshe is the Principal and Co-Founder of Alkamy Capital and a seasoned leader in the real estate industry. In 2013, he co-founded YMP Real Estate, which became a driving force in the= industry, earning recognition as one of South Florida’s top private firms for four consecutive years.

Throughout his career, Moshe has overseen the acquisition and management of more than 1.6 million square feet of prime office space and over 4,000 multifamily units across key markets, including Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, and New Jersey. As a third-generation real estate investor, Moshe brings two decades of in-depth expertise, managing commercial real estate assets exceeding $1 billion in market value. Since 2021, Moshe has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Development Finance Corporation, an organization that contributes to Florida’s economic development by facilitating access to capital for businesses and organizations seeking financing for their projects. He is also a board member of the Florida Assisted Living Association and an official member of the South Florida Business Journal Leadership Trust, reflecting his active role in shaping industry standards and community growth. Moshe is a graduate of Yeshiva University and received his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York.

Yaffa Popack

 Principal and Co-Founder

Yaffa Popack is the Principal and Co-Founder of Alkamy Capital. She is also the Co-Founder and Chairwoman of YMP Real Estate, where she leads several teams essential to the management of over $1 billion of real estate assets across the Eastern corridor of the United States. She has been recently appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida to serve as a Trustee for the Florida International University, and since 2020 she has been serving on the Board of Governors for the Touro University in New York. Yaffa is a graduate of Columbia University and received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York.

Michael Basic

Managing Director, Portfolio Development

Michael Basic has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management and financial reporting. Prior to joining Alkamy, Michael directed the regional portfolio of $1.8 billion in commercial real estate assets, heading the investment strategy, leasing operations and asset performance and financial reporting at Manulife Financial Management. He has previously led the asset management division at Westfield Corp, Inc., Delma Realty, and Search Builders, Inc. Michael is a CPM and CCIM, and a member of COLBA, IREM and BOMA. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in business administration, finance and accounting.

Daniella Folk

Managing Director, Operations

Daniella Folk has seven years of experience at public accounting firms and 19 years of experience in the private sector. She worked as an auditor at KPMG, performing audits of financial statements and internal controls. She worked as a consultant at Deloitte for various global clients in the outsourcing department. Previously, Daniella headed the finance division for annual compliance and state funds management for a not-for-profit institution. Daniella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.

Harvey Trautenberg

Managing Director, Finance

Harvey Trautenberg has over 30 years of experience in international finance and accounting, including banking, public accounting, construction, and real estate management. He successfully completed several turnarounds for the Resolution Trust in Florida and Texas. He was Chief Financial Officer of the Pankey Foundation for 13 years. Harvey served as economic advisor to the past Chairman of the National League of Savings Associations. He was instrumental in passing legislation significantly affecting Florida not-for-profit entities. Harvey is a graduate of the University of Florida.

Olga Iskender

Managing Director, Asset Management

Olga Iskender has over 15 years of experience in multifamily and commercial real estate, having managed transactions exceeding $1 billion in value-add assets across the United States. Olga served as Director of Asset Management at Eastham Capital, where she managed the performance and operations of over 50 commercial real estate properties, encompassing approximately 13,000 units. Olga holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Clark University.

Lavinia Felberbaum

Director, Portfolio Oversight

Lavinia Felberbaum brings over 17 years of experience in implementing multidisciplinary and complex consultancy projects across a range of sectors, including mortgage servicing, commercial real estate operations, transportation, investment projects, government strategic planning. Her experience spans both the United States and Europe. She has held key roles at consulting firms like KPMG, Louis Berger, GEA Strategy, where she led diverse teams and provided advisory services on governmental contracts financed by the European Commission, the World Bank Group, European Investment Fund, and national Governments. Lavinia holds a Master of Science in Structural Funds Management and a degree in Business administration from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania.
